We investigate the impact of viral infections on cell function and tissue integrity in the respiratory tract, nervous system, and at maternal-fetal interface. Employing interdisciplinary approaches that integrate stem cell biology, immunology, and virology, we aim to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms of infection and identify potential therapeutic targets.
